The Habit of Watchfulness
(2 Corinthians 13:5-10)

The Habit of Watchfulness helps us see how Jesus meets our every need.

Watchfulness makes us ask:

  1. Who do I really think I am?

  2. Who do I really think they are?

  3. What do I really think is true?

  4. What do I really think God is like?

Reflection Questions

  • Is the Spirit drawing your attention to part(s) of your life that Jesus wants to help you with? Will you let Him?
    > Have you placed your hope for peace with God and eternal life into the hands of Jesus?

  • Are there first steps of confession, repentance, and faith in the gospel you can take… right now? …this week?

  • How can you make watchfulness a part of your spiritual friendships? (regular invitation, explicit permission, etc.)
